After a decade in Chapel Hill, Strata Solar is moving to downtown Durham
The homegrown solar farm giant is relocating its headquarters to the Min ill and Power Plant Buildings at the Golden Belt Campus downtown Durham.
There, Strata envisions an expansion of the operations center it currently has at its Chapel Hill headquarters – with upgraded equipment. O'Hara says the new center will provide state-of-the-art monitoring operations and maintenance for its farms. That includes both the ones it owns and those where it's contracted to provide operations and maintenance services. Strata's maintenance of third-party systems is “growing pretty significantly.”
